Went to work today and saw a filming crew on our lot. When I asked someone what show they were shooting for and was told ‘FlashForward,’ I got giddy because it’s a new sci-fi drama that I’ve been following and had just seen the previous night! To think just a few months ago, they shot CSI: Miami there, too. I shouldn’t be surprised since I’m so close to Hollywood, after all.

Had a late lunch, took an afternoon nap, and then just had a late dinner. Can’t believe how fast the day went. I think I’m caught up with my sleep.

Bondoc means Mountain


Looks like I missed this dude’s UCI concert Thursday night. Even if I went I guess I wouldn’t have been able to make it on time anyway, given the traffic on L.A. freeways at rush hour. On his twitter he said he’s in FL now for a gig there. What a busy guy. He’s got a few concerts coming up according to his Myspace.

Funny thing is, I’m also from the S.F. Bay Area but only heard about him when I was already living here in L.A. Lucky for me I’m living in Cali, so I know I’ll get to catch one of his shows eventually.

Incidentally, his last name is an archaic form of the word ‘bundok,’ which means ‘mountain’ in Tagalog. It even found its way into the American vocabulary in the last century as the term ‘boondocks.’ Bet some of you didn’t know that. =]

Poor Taylor Swift got pranked by Ellen for Halloween. She’s such a good sport, despite falling hard like that. Haha!
